Hello, I’m Kara and I love to make, tinker, experiment, design and solve.

I grew up in the California Eastern Sierra mountain range working on cattle ranches and small farms. I studied art and design on the Central Coast at Cal Poly, and after some time apprenticing in architecture, moved to Portland, OR and started a small creative direction studio.

I am now settled in Austin, TX with my two dogs, Aladdin and Charlie, where I work with startups as a Sr. Product Designer, make photographs in my garage darkroom, and ride my bike.
